Cantor Miriam Eskenasy

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Becoming a bar or bat mitzvah, literally translated as son or daughter of the commandment, is a milestone in one’s Jewish education.   Such a milestone can happen at thirteen years of age or even at eighty three.  Cantor Miriam teaches children and adults everything   needed to become a bar or bat mitzvah and works with families to create a meaningful Jewish experience, either public or private, be it  in Chicago, New York or Israel.  From beginning Hebrew to chanting Torah and singing the blessings,  she inspires her students to  deepen their knowledge and love of Judaism, while celebrating this important rite of passage.
